Holomorphic foliations in Alsace

A singular journey from locality to globality


The theory of holomorphic foliations is a rich subject at the meeting point of geometry, topology, analysis and algebra. The aim of this conference is to present recent developments in this theory, with a special focus on the following themes:
  • Local analytical and topological classification.
  • Moduli space of analytic curves in dimension 2. This ancient topic dates back to ZARISKI and has recently undergone major advances.
  • Interaction between tangential and transverse structures .
  • Algebraization of foliations.
  • Foliated projective spaces. The topic particularly regards the conjecture on the structure of foliations on projective spaces as pullbacks of foliations of $\mathbb{P}^2(\mathbb{C})$.
  • Foliations in dimension greater than 2 and/or codimension greater than 1.
