THE FLAG-DESCENT AND -EXCEDANCE NUMBERS
Abstract.
The flag-descent and flag-excedance numbers are known to
have the same distributions on the
wreath product of the cyclic group C(l) by the
symmetric group. A combinatorial proof of this result
is derived in this Note.
