ICMP 2024

ICMP 2024 will take place in Strasbourg, 1-6 July 2024, save the date!

Presentation

I am currently assistant professor (maître de conférences) in the analysis team of IRMA at Université de Strasbourg. Before, I was a postdoc at CY Cergy Paris Université, ETH Zürich and Roma La Sapienza. I defended my Ph.D thesis, supervised by Krzystof Gawedzki, at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon in December 2015.

I am a member of the French Mathematical Society (SMF) and the International Association of Mathematical Physics (IAMP)

You can find my CV here in French (04/2022) and English (04/2022).

Research interests

My work focuses on the definition and study of topological indices from condensed matter systems such as topological insulators and some generalization of it. What I particularly like in this field is the strong connection between mathematics and physics: going from mathematical theorems to physical observables, and vice-versa. More precisely, I have been studying the following topics:

  • C*-dynamical quantum systems and approach to equilibrium
  • Topology in the shallow-water model
  • Disordered systems and Anderson localization
  • Topology of periodically driven (Floquet) systems and quantum walks
  • Time-reversal invariant topological insulators
  • Non-equilibirum stationary states in junctions of quantum wires
  • Conformal field theory
If you read French I aslo recommend a popularization paper with Michel Fruchart in Le Rayon, online journal of the French physical society.
