Yanfei Xiang
Welcome to my personal web page!
Since April 1st, 2025, I have been working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the
Institut de Recherche Mathématique Avancée (IRMA),
within the Modelling and Control team at the University of Strasbourg.
My research is conducted under the joint supervision of
Emmanuel Franck,
Victor Michel-Dansac and Yannick Privat, with additional collaborations involving
Julie Digne,
Borjan Geshkovski and Joubine Aghili.
This research focuses on devising generative models to improve the optimal control of systems governed by partial differential equations (PDEs) and inverse problems.
The research is supported by the PEPR PDE-AI program, which aims at developing the mathematical analysis of AI, the study of
optimization in machine learning, as well as in developing machine learning for numerical analysis and scientific computing.
